Classic Cars & Muscle Cars Reborn
Recent times have seen the reintroduction of both classic cars and muscle cars that have been updated in the hottest of ways.
The first classic car and muscle car we must speak about it the all-new 2010 Chevy Camaro. “The 2010 Camaro isn’t just a performance car, but an extraordinary presence in a new age of precison.” – Chevrolet.com
And who are we to argue? The 2010 Chevy Camaro is hot indeed. The buzz its received has been enormous, particularly after being featured in the Hollywood blockbuster film, “Transformers”. Now this writer is not going to mention their age, but I do remember the Chevy Camaro back in the day. It was the car that made all the kids say, “whooooooa!!” It was the car we wanted most in our Matchbox collection.
The new model is even available in a 2010 Transformers Special Edition with a $995 package price. How cool is that!?
Over at Mercedes-Benz, the famous and retired 300 SL series has been reborn in the form of the SLS AMG supercar. This awesome car will feature an aluminum spaceframe body and gullwing doors. These are doors which open upwards and in the shape of a seagull’s wings. A front-mounted 6.3-liter v8 engine will provide the power for this hot ride.
There is news also over at Ford Motor Co. While not a true muscle car, the Capri has been reborn and retooled for the new era. Originally built in Europe and sold in the U.S. under the name simply “Capri” and later “Mercury Capri”, the new Ford Capri will feature the latest in Ford styling. Featuring a roof spoiler, lower rear bumper, C-shaped rear windows and distinctive tail lights, the all-new Ford Capri is a sports car that screams sexy. The new model will be powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine.
